Our philosophy:
We believe in a holistic approach to college admissions. What that means is crafting a single, cohesive story around who you are as a person, and then using a combination of academics, extracurriculars, and personal essays to tell this story. Understandably, this isn’t easy, nor is it the standard approach to college admissions. But through our own personal experience at elite institutions, we believe that this is the best way to demonstrate value to the admissions committee.
Accomplishing this won’t be easy. Getting into these schools isn’t easy by definition. Our admissions philosophy revolves around optimizing time use in high school for a results-driven approach. However, we vehemently disagree with so-called resume padding, and instead, advocate a targeted approach towards extracurriculars and academics. High school is a critical time for students, and they only have three years to demonstrate a high level of achievement. With our help, we believe that we can set up your child for success in school and in life.
About me:
I attended public school on the east coast, where I took the standard slate of AP classes. I then went to college at Princeton University and did a PhD at Harvard University. I knew early on what sort of story I wanted to present to the admissions committee, and I believe that was my unique advantage when it came to admissions. Let me show you how to craft a story unique for your child, and how to plan out these four critical years.
